I prop my layouts up on the music stand of my piano, which is located right next to a big window for lots of natural light. I also found that if I don't try to fill the frame with the layout when I'm shooting, the results are better. And I don't use a flash. Then I use Photoshop to crop the layouts later.
I love the flower pattern on Early Bird. I am really drawn to bold colors. I have so many pics of my kids in boxes. Aren't they funny?
