Echo Park-- For the Record

This was my first chance working with some Echo Park products... and I just love them! These layouts came together more easily than normal. The only thing different in the creation was the products, so I'll attribute my success to Echo Park!

I was so excited to scrap this photo that my good friend Becky w/ Simply Enjoy Photography (in NW Washington) took of my kids and I in December. Scrapping really important photos can be scary-- you don't want to "lose" them in the layout. How do you think I did?
I hand cut the black and white polkadot banner-- just begin with rectangles and then flip over your square punch, turn it to a 45 degree angle and precisely match up the corners to punch out the bottom edge!

This next layout uses photos from a fun little game of football w/ my son. My friend Harmony shot these photos... I'm so thankful for others who enjoy photography so that I can BE in photos sometimes!

Echo Park's "For the Record" pattern papers include borders and journaling spots that just made throwing these layouts together simple! Go check out their stuff at Paper Pals today.

I LOVE these layouts, Angela!! The banner on the first one is great, and I love your "tip" about how to make them!! I would have never thought of that!! (And, you know I love punches!!)
And, I love the design of the 2nd layout...the smaller pictures complimenting the large one!!! OK if I scraplift these?? :0)

More great layouts. Again both of these could be in a magazine. The photo of you and your kids is perfect. Your layout brings the eye right to the photo. So talented.

Oh my gosh!! I am so Scraplifting those lay-outs!! Especially the "love" one! This is exactly the type of lay-out I hope to find in "pro" scrapbook magazine that often never appear. Totally Fantabulous with all the embellishments, the clustering and the simplicity all wrapped up in a little mini-masterpiece. Bravo!
