More American Crafts-- Blue Skies

Do you ever start a layout and then halfway through it you realize it just isn't working?

That happened to me.

I posted here in December and promised a second layout using the American Crafts Blue Skies line. I just love the paper line, and had a fun idea to use 12 photos on one layout.

But it took a "girly" turn for a "boyish" layout. I had to start over. Hence, the extra time. I'm sure you've been waiting with baited breath... :)

Without further ado, here it is!

It has twelve 2x2 photos on it. For the mathematically challenged (like me)that's the equivalent of only two 4x6 prints!
Paper Pals has just the perfect striped ribbon to match the Blue Skies line. I just used itty bitty cutouts from the line plus the Remarks journaling sticker. Add in some Thickers sticker letters, a little doodling... and WHAMMO! Layout D-U-N.

I got this idea from a Jessica Sprague layout and ran with it. What event do you want to scrap that has a whole bunch of photos? Possibly the holidays? Try this out!

Paper Pals always carries the fabulous American Crafts products. Did you hear their recent news? It's a new collaboration between them (one of my favorite product lines) and Elizabeth Kartchner (one of my favorite designers). Read more about it here.

And the GRAND FINALE of my post... Design Team is getting ready for something BIG. And it means GIVEAWAYS for YOU. Want to learn more? Come back here for the fun on Thursday January 14th. And get more information about it at my blog, Mom-e-Memoirs.

See you next Thursday!

Love the layout. I got photoshop and a dummies book and now I just need to figure it out so I too can do the photo collage.
