DT Challenge: Pick a color and stick with it

Yellow. It's a great color, and thoroughly underrepresented in the color spectrum (or at least in my stash of paper). However, I've been trying to remedy that, and picked up this paper in an effort to beef up my stock of paper.

This is a layout I did a few months ago of a photo that was taken a...um...about a year ago. The shirt Eva is wearing is one of my favorites, and the embossed yellow Bazzill worked really well to highlight her clothes. The Bazzill made the page feel a lot more finished than plain paper, and the light yellow 7gypsies tag completed it. Thanks for the great challenge, Anita!

I like the yellow! This is a hard color to use and you rocked it!

Your simple, yet, oh so classy, style is just fantastic Heather! And I agree...there is just something "fancy" about the Bazzill embossed paper!

I love the straightforward, clear, singular focus on this layout. The photo is the centerpiece, and that's the way layouts really should be!
Nice one, Heather. Can you teach me how to have a singlular focus? :)

Fabulous layout Heather! I love the focus as well and I agree with Anita about the embossed paper...it adds just enough interest to the layout without taking away from the photo!

Yellow is coming back, it is the forgotten color. I am starting to love it for the first time as a scrapbook color. I love the adorable photo and how straightforward your lay-out is. It is lovely. Way to represent a feeling and a moment.
